　　本書是北京市高等教育精品教材立項(xiàng)項(xiàng)目，也是教育部高職高專英語(yǔ)類專業(yè)教學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)精品課程“英語(yǔ)速記”的教材。本教材根據(jù)《關(guān)于全面提高高等職業(yè)教育教學(xué)質(zhì)量的若干意見》中有關(guān)“工學(xué)結(jié)合”的基本要求，結(jié)合目前高等職業(yè)院校英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)生的實(shí)際水平和基本特點(diǎn)，創(chuàng)立了一種新型的融“教、學(xué)、做”為一體的交互模擬式“英語(yǔ)(視)聽一英語(yǔ)記錄(速錄+筆記)”實(shí)訓(xùn)體系。 書中按學(xué)科分為10個(gè)單元，每個(gè)單元由“速記工作坊”(WORKSHOPS)和 “學(xué)科講壇”(LECTURES)兩大部分組成。通過(guò)配套的立體交互模擬實(shí)訓(xùn)軟件，幫助學(xué)生領(lǐng)會(huì)和掌握準(zhǔn)確有效完成記錄相關(guān)英語(yǔ)信息的方法和技能。 全書內(nèi)容新穎、實(shí)用，練習(xí)多樣、豐富，將學(xué)習(xí)、練習(xí)和趣味性融為一體，是一本很好的技能訓(xùn)練教程。書后附有生詞講解、練習(xí)答案、視聽材料原文以及速記技巧介紹，供使用者學(xué)習(xí)參考。
