《藥學(xué)英語(yǔ)》第2版于2000年面世以來(lái)，全國(guó)藥學(xué)類(lèi)院校積極采用，本書(shū)第3版的編寫(xiě)是為了適應(yīng)藥學(xué)教育的新形勢(shì)和各高校開(kāi)設(shè)基礎(chǔ)藥學(xué)英語(yǔ)的學(xué)時(shí)數(shù)，以及某些高校除基礎(chǔ)藥學(xué)英語(yǔ)外還按課程開(kāi)設(shè)專(zhuān)業(yè)藥學(xué)英語(yǔ)等需要。本書(shū)第3版編寫(xiě)中，仍分為上下兩冊(cè)，上冊(cè)為基礎(chǔ)藥學(xué)英語(yǔ)，共選課文30課和閱讀材料15課，其體例仍為：課文；詞匯注釋?zhuān)徽n文注釋?zhuān)涣?xí)題。下冊(cè)為專(zhuān)業(yè)藥學(xué)英語(yǔ)，共分成藥物化學(xué)、藥劑學(xué)、藥理學(xué)、藥物分析、生藥學(xué)、生物化學(xué)、植物化學(xué)和藥事管理八個(gè)學(xué)科。
