本專業(yè)是計算機硬件與軟件相結合、面向系統(tǒng)、側重應用的寬口徑專業(yè)。通過基礎教學與專業(yè)訓練，培養(yǎng)基礎知識扎實、知識面寬、工程實踐能力強，具有開拓創(chuàng)新意識，在計算機科學與技術領域從事科學研究、教育、開發(fā)和應用的高級人才。
本專業(yè)開設的主要課程有：電子技術、離散數(shù)學、程序設計、數(shù)據(jù)結構、操作系統(tǒng)、計算機組成原理、微機系統(tǒng)、計算機系統(tǒng)結構、編譯原理、計算機網絡、數(shù)據(jù)庫系統(tǒng)、軟件工程、人工智能、計算機圖形學、數(shù)字圖像處理、計算機通訊原理、多媒體信息處理技術、數(shù)字信號處理、計算機控制、網絡計算、算法設計與分析、信息安全、應用密碼學基礎、信息對抗、移動計算、數(shù)論與有限域基礎、人機界面設計、面向對象程序設計等。
